The US singer has recruited a host of famous faces including Rebecca Black, Kenny G, Glee’s Darren Criss and Kevin McHale for her latest promo, which see’s Perry take a trip back to the 80’s for her first house party experience.

Arctic Monkeys have earned the top spot in the UK albums chart with their fourth studio album, ‘Suck It And See’. The band, who played two large shows in their hometown of Sheffield over the weekend, managed to knock Lady Gaga’s ‘Born This Way’ from the Number One position to gain their fourth Number One LP.

Alter Bridge have confirmed their much rumoured UK tour with Black Stone Cherry, taking place this November.
The US rock bands will play 6 UK arena shows, kicking off in Birmingam on November 22nd, followed by gigs in Cardiff, Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow and London.

The Darkness are back on tour this November with a 16 date jaunt kicking off in Liverpool on November 8th, concluding with a London HMV Hammersmith Apollo show on November 25th. Tickets for The Darkness are onsale next Friday (June 17th).

Ja Rule has begun a two year jail sentence today after being found guilty of criminal possession of a weapon. The rapper and actor pleaded guilty to the charge six months ago, leading on from a 2007 incident when traffic police pulled him over to find a loaded semi-automatic handgun hidden in the rear door of his car.

Adele has confirmed that 'Set Fire To The Rain' will be taken as the third single from her hugely-successful second album ‘21’. The 23-year-old singer, who dominated the top of the UK albums chart for fifteen non-consecutive weeks with ‘21’, will release the track as the follow-up to her emotional anthem ‘Someone Like You’.
